Space Monkey Tattoo

Super pleased with my experience at Space Monkey! I came in with an inspo photo and left with a tattoo even better than what I’d envisioned in my head. Clean shop, cool and friendly folks and an overall excellent vibe. My tattoo artist Kory did fantastic work and I’ll definitely be back!

Space Monkey Tattoo has a great esthetic and the location is perfect as well: restaurants close by and a record store next door. My wife and I have been going to Andrew for around 15 years. When you find an artist with his skill and creativity, you can't go to anyone else. Each time I get work done by Andrew, I'm amazed at the end result. The fact that he is a solid, genuine person is a plus. If you're thinking of getting a tattoo, go to Andrew Shelton at Space Monkey Tattoo and you'll never be disappointed!

The best tattoo shop. The shop is kept clean with nice flash sheets, furniture, and an easy to navigate layout. The artists really give the shop a good community aspect, most know my name and joke around with me when I’m around, and they go above and beyond when asked for advice on placement, design, or anything tattoo. I specifically get my work done by Josh Blumberg who does amazing color and black work. Find a few of the pieces I’ve gotten from him in the pictures. Josh is incredibly easy to get along with, and gives great advice on design and placement while also being incredibly flexible with scheduling. Further, Josh works on that tattoo collaboratively, not just placing a stencil and starting but giving you options of the design and being open to going with another design entirely. Similarly, during the session Josh makes sure the experience is as smooth as possible providing good conversation, double checking your preference for certain parts of the design, or listening to music you recommend. Finally, you’ll never have to worry about aftercare with Josh, as he makes sure to provide the best advice possible and answers any questions as well as providing extra Derm-Shield should one need it. Josh understands he’s not just tattooing, but creating a piece of art that will be on your body forever, and makes sure to knock it out the park every time. Every artist in the shop similarly takes care of their clients and provide advice on placement and design any time they’re free, which is a huge help to make sure you get the tattoo you envisioned. Can’t recommend this shop enough, anything from traditional to blackwork and beyond, someone will make sure you get the perfect tattoo.
