I’ve gotten 2 tattoos here, now, both little guys, and will absolutely continue to come here because everyone is so great. Some shops feel really judgmental or too cool for your idea, and no one here is like that. They’re all very nice and excited for you. I’ve worked with Nick both times. Highly recommend!

Black Cat is simply the best! I stopped in today to get a tattoo with Vanessa and am beyond happy with her work. She was sweet, attentive, and easily incorporated some last minute changes I had. The shop is a work of art itself and every inch of it was decorated so thoughtfully. The other artists and staff were all easygoing and made the entire shop feel like a hangout session. They have an oddities shop in the back that you can purchase some really fun, interesting, and weird pieces; you don’t need a tattoo appointment to check it out! I’ll be coming back here and only here for any future tattoos. Go for the tattoos, artists, and shop, stay for Mavis, the best little shop dog.

The shop had a great vibe, and everyone working there seemed very nice and down to earth. Parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon, and the shop's dog, Mavis, was super cute! Alli (undersimilarskies) did an AMAZING job with my tattoo (the font is my mom's handwriting, so she didn't have much to work with there). She included everything I asked for (plus more) and helped educate me on the best sizing and placement. She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about tattooing which shows in her work. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also a sweet and genuine person. You will not regret getting a tattoo from Alli!
