I’ve been to many piercing shops in town and I must say getting pierced by Brian was a great experience from start to finish. Brian Bishop’s shop is located inside All Saints Tattoo North. His cutie hole in the wall was charmingly decorated à la keep-Austin-weird from spiderweb iron bars to a rando collection of cookie fortunes. I came in for a retry after a botched piercing from another shop, and he handled it with care, patience, and clear communication. Brian really listened to my vision instead of dismissing it, he explained all of my options and limitations based on my ear anatomy and jewelry piece, and after all of that we decided to go for the challenge. Very client-centered and truly a collab experience! The end result was a beautifully executed hidden helix with a very large piece of jewelry — something not just any piercer could (or would) take on. There was also no up-charge on the piercing fee based on jewelry karat/metal, which made the whole experience feel fair. Because of that, I felt so happy and confident to provide a generous tip without feeling that dreaded buyer’s remorse. Thirty years of experience, a one-person operation, and a true keep-Austin-weird vibe. I highly recommend Brian Bishop!
Marco was amazing!! My appointment was made day-of, and it came out even better than I could’ve imagined. He was very conscious of when I needed a break, and was lovely to chat with. The placement of my tattoo was “risqué” and he was absolutely professional from start to finish. 10/10 will be back!
Me and a group of my friends came in for some piercings! He did an amazing job, really paid attention to us and to what we wanted, and had just made all of us so comfortable! Definitely 5 stars, couldn’t ask for better.
