Bright Ideas Tattoo and Piercing

If I could leave 0 stars I would! I came in the other day for a very small simple cover up. I asked the “EXPERIENCED” tattoo artist of apparently 17 yrs for some advice or ideas on what would cover it nicely. For some reason he has no suggestions.. so I looked up a picture of cherry blossoms. He showed me the sketch and the colors (two diff pinks) and I approved thinking the tattoo would be more detailed than the sketch. To start, he used a yellow that I never approved of and when I asked him why he says “you said you wanted color” like huh? I never approved that. He goes on to tell me that The flowers can’t be more realistic due to the size but he NEVER said that before starting. The tattoo is horrible. He let me get it for free but I feel that is not enough. This is on my wrist and it’s going to be so difficult to get a cover up covered. He did not attempt to fix the tattoo at all.. just told me “you just don’t believe me”. Here is the photo we were going off and what he gave me. Tattoos are forever and I’ve been crying about this since I got it. Shame on this artist and hopefully this company will further compensate me since now I’ll have to spend a lot of money to get this fixed after having to hide this for weeks until it heals.

I’d like to give a shout-out to Dilan Allen. I came in without an appointment for advice, and he was immediately attentive to my concerns. I received an eyebrow piercing at a different shop and wasn’t confident about the outcome, so I came to Bright Ideas Tattoo and Piercing for a second opinion. Unfortunately, the previous shop hadn’t done my piercing properly, and it was at risk of rejecting. Dilan was sympathetic about my situation, then kindly cleaned and removed the piercing free of charge. The process was completely pain-free, and I would definitely recommend Dilan, he was knowledgeable and highly experienced.

Came in to get my boyfriend’s nose piercing removed. We called ahead of time and the girl on the phone said it should be “no problem” we came in at about 3:40 on a Saturday and got no greeting at the door, we sat down and decided to wait to see if we would be greeted or anything alike. No dice; but not to worry 10 minutes later they greeted a couple who came in and immediately got them seen. Based on my experience if you want a piercing shop/ tattoo shop that really just doesn’t give a damn come to this one.
