Amazing Grace Tattoo & Piercing

I recommend Reed Hammer at the Collective. From my concept to his improved excellent design to quality of work to cleanliness and hygeine of the business, I positively laud his work. I have a number of tattoos. I received one from Mr. Hammer in February of 2025. I contacted him about a month or two prior to execution of the work. I had a general design in mind of a Star Wars Stormtrooper's helmet being pierced by a lightsaber with a Christian theme. Mr. Hammer rendered a drawing with words I had chosen and a number personal to me. The design was exactly of what I was thinking with flare he added that I admired and wanted done. The appointment was easy, he completed the work in one sitting, Mr. Hammer was very pleasant, and I had absolutely no problems following the tattoo; and a year later when the photo accompanying this post was taken, the work is still wonderfully beyond expectations. Everyone in the shop conversed the entire time with fun and friendly conversation. I left having a better understanding of tattoo care than when I entered, and he welcomed me for more work if I ever wanted it done. If you have a concept for a tattoo, I recommend Reed Hammer for your concept and work. The process, as stated, was exactly what I wanted, easy, as pain free as a tattoo can be, and the price was reasonable. Thank you, Reed Hammer, for excellent work and you exceeded my expectations.

Reed is absolutely an extremely talented and knowledgeable artist. His attention to detail Is phenomenal. I could not be happier with the crisp finite work I’ve had from him so far and will be employing him as my artist for as long as I continue to reside in Boise. My wife and I went to 7 tattoo shops before we found this place. We ended up getting matching-ish tattoos and I went back later to also get a thigh piece. We got tattooed by Reed Hammer, his work is amazing as well as the environment, people, and music. I recommend this place to all my co-workers and even had a couple of them go in and get a tattoo from Reed and they love their tats. Also shout out to Sean, he is super nice and does good work as well!
