Fat Ram's Pumpkin Tattoo

i came in for two small tattoos in june and worked with JASON. i showed my two designs, very simple line work (one tattoo was a word, the second a set of three numbers). the experience itself was okay and i appreciated that he worked with me through the back and forth on placements. final results were fine though ridiculously overpriced ($300… for a five letter word and a set of numbers). i went in for a touch up a few months later for the numbers, as there we unfilled areas of the tattoo. jason was very quick to defend himself saying “i never have to do touch ups, ive only done 6 in my 30 years” etc etc. i made it very clear that i wanted to preserve the tattoos, its size and its font. he said he could do that. one month later with my tattoo healed, it looks drastically different from what i originally got. after calling to discuss it and just share what i was seeing, i was met with a very inconsiderate, condescending, man-splaining explanation where i was told to just “live with it” and that its “my problem.” he threw back in my face that he’s been tattooing for so long and that he doesn’t even really do small tattoo work. professionalism was thrown out the window and i would never trust someone like that to work on me. kindness and respect are very basic things to be offered to clients especially when that is what’s being given. i would go to a basement tattoo guy before i went back to this place.

Roz has been my main tattoo artist for well over 10 years. She is absolutely amazing. She has such a talent for drawing and always knocks it out of the park for every piece she has done for me. She can do anything from portraits to artful designs to really cool anime. Fat Ram's shop is excellent. It is always very clean and very welcoming. I have never used any of the other artists at the shop, but I've witnessed their work, and it is all amazing with high skill and experience. I always recommend people to visit the shop. You will not be disappointed.

I had a great experience getting a tattoo from Binx, she made me feel very comfortable and was so good at matching the style of my other tattoo that was done by a different artist. Everyone is very nice here and I really enjoyed my experience! There was a small scheduling mistake, but they handled it very well and were really apologetic. I also really liked that you aren't expected to pay with physical cash. The deposit was done via Venmo which goes towards the cost of the tattoo, then you are able to pay and tip via card after the tattoo is finished.
