IRIS - a piercing studio

Got good vibes the second I got in the door and felt like I was in an upscale jewelry store. Laurel was very helpful with choosing jewelry, explained different prices as well as what works best for new piercings. I picked out a cute and sparkling blue flower for my philtrum piercing. We also talked about her piercings, healing times as well as an interesting piercing I'd never seen before. Our piercer, Jennie, was very professional, explained the entire piercing process as well as gave very detailed after care instructions. Her piercing room was immaculate. She wore gloves during the entire process, even changed them before piercing me and used hand sanitizer before putting on the new gloves. Before that she showed me the steristrip from the autoclave as proof that the jewelry was indeed sterilized. Prior to my piercing, she let me know a philtrum piercing is pretty spicy, gave me a ball to squeeze and told me to take deep breaths. It did hurt because of course it did! But I liked it! 😂 I'm weird. My entire experience with both Jennie and Laurel was amazing. I'll definitely be back in the future! Thank you both! ❤️❤️

Best piercing studio ever and Jennie is the best! So kind, informative, and fun! Took great care of us, easing our minds and making sure we knew everything that was happening. She’s so sweet too! We had the best experience and are obsessed with our piercings!

I’ve gotten three piercings at Iris, a conch and second lobe, and then the second lobe on my other ear. Admittedly I chose Iris because their jewelry selection is awesome. But they take the craft and medical procedure of piercing seriously; my piercer was Kai, and they are super experienced. Piercings are in private rooms with piercing beds, not chairs. Iris has well-reasoned and substantial guidelines for post-piercing care, recommended downsizing (seems like all studios should do this), and automated follow ups and check-in texts at various intervals after piercing that allow you to ask questions and get advice. I wasn’t prepared for how much (and for how long) the conch piercing would hurt, but Laurel’s text support was so comforting and encouraging, and she remembered my questions and concerns when I came in for the second lobe piercing! My kiddo wants to go to Iris when she’s ready to get her ears pierced. Thank you!
