Brian Blalock Tattoo

Brian has to be the most talented tattoo artist out there. I spent months and years looking at artists and their portfolios. Brian’s work stood out and it wasn’t even close. Every one of his works is a masterpiece. Even the ones that I wouldn’t consider getting myself were so beautiful. I knew my first tattoo had to be from Brian and Blalock Tattoo! It took me a while to get on his books. He is a very busy guy, but it was so worth the wait. I had been wanting an Atlas tattoo with wings as a memorial piece for my son, Atlas, who had passed away. Brian listened to my idea and put his own flare into the design. It was even better than I had imagined. He executed it flawlessly, it didn’t hurt as much as most people say and we were able to knock it out in one big session. His work space is super clean and he is super professional. My friends couldn’t believe how it looked that first day. Most of their past tattoos were extra red and irritated and bandaged poorly. Brian had it looking good from the time I stood up from the chair. It healed up quickly. It has been 2 years now and I get compliments on it almost daily. People always say it is the best tattoo that they have ever seen and always ask who did it and where is he located. I always tell them about Blalock Tattoo. Thank you Brian. It is perfect!

I’ve been getting work done by Brian at Solid Ground Tattoo, and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. He’s incredibly professional, the shop is super clean, and the quality of his work speaks for itself—my tattoo always gets compliments! Some of my sessions have gone pretty late into the night because of the detail involved, but I never once felt uncomfortable or uneasy. Brian creates a relaxed vibe—I’d be watching my show while he worked and he’d have his music on in the background. During breaks, we’d just hang out and talk like old friends. If you’re looking for an artist who’s not only talented but also creates a comfortable and professional experience, Brian’s your guy. I’ll definitely be back again!

Great experience from start to finish! The studio at Solid ground has a really welcoming atmosphere. Brian was incredibly professional, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout every session. Beyond his technical talent (realism, which is exceptional – my full back tattoo looks amazing!) Dude has a wonderful demeanor that puts you at ease. I truly appreciate his patience, and the care throughout the entire process, especially a piece this size!
