I don’t even know where to begin with my gratitude for Maryssa Gray and Odyssey Art Collective. Less than a year ago, I reached out to Maryssa thinking I was at least ten years away from ever finishing this tattoo—if I was going to finish it at all. What had been an ongoing source of anxiety, dread, and frustration for four years became something completely different in her hands. Before working with Maryssa, this piece brought me to tears more times than I can count—often from the emotional weight of it, not just the pain of sitting in the chair. Last night, driving home after our final session, I cried again—but this time from relief, joy, and gratitude. Maryssa didn’t just finish my tattoo. She gave it back to me. She made me love it again, and somehow made the entire process feel safe, calm, and genuinely healing. Her space is warm and welcoming, and you can feel the care she puts into both her work and her clients the moment you walk in. I am so grateful to know her and to have trusted her with something so personal. Maryssa and the entire Odyssey Art Collective team are deeply deserving of everything they’ve built. I will continue to bring my business here for as long as they’ll have me—and I can’t recommend her highly enough. I have never been to a more beautiful studio. They have hit the mark on everything, including the smallest detail. Huge selection of jewelry, amazing tattoo artist. Alexis did my sleeve and still looks incredible years later. I get compliments on it EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO ANYWHERE.

I am easily Alexis’s biggest fan. She’s done all of my tattoo work, and it’s been incredible to watch her skill grow and evolve over the years. Getting tattooed by her feels more like a therapy session or even a haircut—she talks with me the entire time like a close friend, catching up on all the big moments in my life since our last appointment. I’d follow her to any studio without hesitation. Beyond that, I’ve had plenty of interactions with Maryssa and Shaun, and they are both just as talented. Shaun has done several of my piercings. Watching the three of them grow & flourish so much since I got my very first tattoo & piercing back at InkedSanity, has been so cool. I genuinely admire all of them & how much they’ve grown!
