I’ve been coming to Hot Rod Tattoo for many years, and this place continues to be as solid as ever. I actually got my first tattoo here over 20 years ago from the previous owner, Matt, and recently returned for some very meaningful memory tattoos and the experience was and is outstanding. Kelly, who is the welcoming face of the shop, and of course Randall, who did my tattoo, were both fantastic. From the moment you walk in, the customer service is welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring. The shop is incredibly clean, well-run, and has a great family atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Randall did an amazing job bringing my vision to life with precision and talent, and you can tell the entire team truly cares about their craft and their clients. It’s rare to find a shop that combines professionalism, skill, and heart the way they do. Thank you for helping me create tattoos that carry such meaningful memories. HotRod Tattoo is hands down amazing. I went in to get my Homer Simpson tattoo re-done with coloring, and Gene Heideman took incredible care of me from start to finish. The coloring came out awesome — clean, vibrant, and exactly what I was hoping for. When the tattoo started to hurt, Gene immediately offered numbing cream, which made the rest of the session way more enjoyable. Once we finished, he applied latex-free second skin, and that alone made the healing process so much easier and smoother. On top of that, Gene also pierced my daughter’s ears, and I can’t say enough about how patient and kind he was. She was scared at first and started crying, but once she saw her dad getting tattooed, she calmed down and felt comfortable. Now she’s already talking about coming back for her nose piercing — and she only wants HotRod Tattoo to do it. Professional, caring, and great vibes all around.
