Each artist here has their own technique and portfolio so make sure to do your research, schedule your consultation, and discuss the details of the art-piece(s) you want. These folks are extremely professional and do amazing artwork. That means they're pretty booked up for putting ink to skin but it was just a quick phone call to setup the initial consultation for the next day. We chose to go with Lee Green for his precision line work and his proclivity for Japanese-style tattoos. Your ink tells a story, is a part of your life, and you want to make sure you get the best artwork possible. Remember, good tattoos are not cheap and cheap tattoos are not good. I can't speak highly enough about my experience. The shop is extremely clean and very welcoming and Lee and Steve were both awesome to work with. My artist was Lee, and on top of his phenomenal work, he was great at helping me through the process from start to finish, as well as getting me through those "first tattoo jitters". I would highly recommend anyone coming here. *Edit, years later: I came back for another tattoo, and had the exact same high quality, amazing experience. You can't go wrong with this shop, and the quality is just insanely amazing. Looking forward to my next appointment to finish it up!

Steve does absolutely incredible work. The oldest tattoo shop in Charlotte, it is also the best. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Steve was kind, professional, and incredibly talented. I will be going back!
