HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL THE LADIES AT THIS SHOP! Aubry has done several of my tattoos and have nothing but amazing things to say about her and her work. Diamond has also done piercings and jewelry changes for me. Let me just say this girl is so dang good at piercings, in my experience almost painless. Women owned business, can’t recommend them enough💓
my cousin diamond has done almost everything on me lol please don’t overbook her jk jk. she’s done all my ear piercings and nose piercings. quick clean and painless. she’s doing my sleeve rn. i’ve got one more session.
i saw their post on instagram about a tiny tattoo flash for $25 to welcome a new artist to the studio, jasmine. i wanted something different than what was on the flash (hello kitty) and it was an extra $10 for printing. jasmine made an uncomfortable racist comment about mexicans “not being nice” (i am half mexican). she started the sentence with “no offense..” and looked directly at me. she also was questioning my original tattoo placement on my upper arm and suggested i put it somewhere else since it was so cute, to which i said sure. she placed the stencil on my lower arm and while she was getting everything set up, i was looking at the placement and decided to move it elsewhere. jasmine was making comments about having to reprint the stencil and not wanting to do it so she decided to use a stencil she made earlier that had part of a different tattoo on it to avoid “wasting time” on reprinting. she was getting the area cleaned for the second placement and i realized i didn’t want to put it in that placement because of the warping since it was near my arm fold. i asked her if we could just place it in my original area of my upper arm and she replied “this is the last time we’re changing the placement because i have another person after you …” mind you, it was my friend and i. i was at 5:30pm and my friend was at 6:30pm. but she was able to put us together at 5:30pm and she decided to call her 7:30pm client early. as she was tattooing she rubbed the stencil off so half of it was freehanded. her 7:30pm client walked in the room and made small talk and jasmine said that i was a “challenge”. at the end, she mentioned she was still new and getting the hang of tattooing in correlation to any “mistakes.” this was when my friend and i realized when the promo post said “new” they did not mean “new to the studio” but new as in a new artist. she also did not verify our names or ask about signing any forms (luckily my friend and i both did the online form but it’s pretty common to ask about waivers and forms). all in all, it was a horrible and uncomfortable experience for both my friend and i. i’m sure the other artists are great, but jasmine did not do a good job and i will be getting this fixed elsewhere or removed completely.
