Barak Studios: Custom Tattoos and Atelier

This was my first tattoo, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Louis explained the entire process clearly and was super receptive to all my questions. His skill with color is amazing, and he’s also incredibly easy and fun to talk to. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing experience with Louis and would recommend his work to anyone. I requested a large piece based on some fairly general guidance out of an interest in Louis developing the piece according to his distinct and beautiful style. He was super respectful and knowledgeable in our conversation to draw out more specific ideas so he could turn the piece into a final work. His plan for the piece was gorgeous and drew out elements that I wasn't even aware of but are some of my favorite in the finished work. During the two-session full tattoo, Louis was respectful, excellent at conversation, and clearly very knowledgeable about tattooing and art making both sessions a joy. He also has a great connection to Chicago making the piece feel local! The final piece is absolutely fantastic and does a great job with my initial idea! I would recommend Louis to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful piece.

Louis is such an amazing artist, tattooist, and person. So welcoming and knowledgeable. I made the drive from Fort Wayne IN to see him and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Truly and highly recommend.
