Studio Gallery Tattoo

I've been to this studio twice to support Shalom (Oh Deer) since the ending of her apprenticeship with another tattoo shop where I met her at. Her tattoos are great but there are some things I don't agree with. I understand she may have a lot of clients and it's not a guarantee to have your tattoos advertised on social media but why not advertise smaller tattoos? I understand she can do what she wants because it's her social media but understand all clients coming in for a tattoo work hard for their money and pay the high priced shop minimums plus we are tipping the artists. Whether it's $50 or $300 dollars it's still money. I came to her for her flash sales and it was something I could afford at the time but I shouldn't be discriminated because it's only a flash sale tattoo. She stated she didn't want to repeat designs on her social media because that is her profile which I understand but why take pictures of our tattoos if you're not gonna post them because others got the same tattoo? Wouldn't you as the tattoo artist want the exposure? We as clients could advertise you and help your business. It's almost like getting small tattoo with her doesn't matter unless it's a big tattoo and you're paying $200 or more for. Seems really selfish and a slap in our face because we can't afford a $200 tattoo. It comes across so wrong and discriminating. I also don't agree with her once telling me Zelle payments are ok and then the second time I come she tells me I need to have Venmo or cash. Other tattoo shops have multiple ways of payment. Why is this shop different? Yes all shops have their own rules and regulations but have it advertised. She states Venmo highly preferred. If she took Zelle payments before what's the issue with paying Zelle again? Why do clients have to have Venmo all of a sudden? Seems really skeptical. Things like this should be in writing. If it is, where? Website? Social media? Very disappointed in Shalom (Oh Deer) especially since she is an extremely new artist.

If I could select more stars for this place I would! From when I first contacted them all the way to the day I got the tattoo done it was amazing service. First time I contacted them they were able to see me for a consult the same day and book me within a few weeks for an appointment. Other places I was contacting they did not have anything available until after January! I am super pleased with the work that was done. Lupe did an incredible job with a portrait of my son making it look so lifelike! I would highly recommend him and I am planning on coming back again!
