Mothers Tattoo & Body Piercing

I came here and got a tattoo of the symbol of the Roman Legions tattooed on my chest. (Says SPQR with an eagle above it) I had initially sent them the photo that I wanted done and was excited about my appointment. I go in for my appointment and Jason comes out with my picture on a piece of paper. He proceeds to tell me that it's a "white supremacist symbol" (which it definitely is NOT, and I had to pull my phone out and give him a 30 second history lesson). He says this in front of the person at the counter as well as 3 other customers who are all now staring at me like I'm some sort of weirdo. I've never felt so embarrassed and won't be going back here for any future tattoos. It's a shame because Kevin and Jeff did my others and they were super cool. At the very least, if he thought that's what my tattoo was, he should've pulled me to the back in private and we talk there. He'd either be wrong (which he was) and be "oh my bad, dude." or he'd be right and refuse to do the tattoo. No sense in shaming or embarrassing your customers in front of others when you weren't even correct to begin with. I never even went back to get the tattoo touched up or anything over all this.

My daughter, Lexie has been here several times to get piercings and several tattoos, and I have accompanied her for some of them & everyone here is kind and helpful. Renee has done most of her piercings & every time Lexie comes in, she will come check to see if her piercings are healing properly. Hudson is doing her first tattoo which is a working process as more is being added on, but it is amazing! Brendan is doing her second tattoo of roses & vines which is also a working progress, but it is also amazing! On the day, Lexie came in to have Brendan to begin her tattoo her rabbit went in for surgery & ended up passing away on the table which was hard! While she was on the phone with the vet, Brendan gave her a moment knowing that Oreo meant a lot to us! Once the first stage of the tattoo was done, Lexie asked him if her could do a small memorial tattoo which he told her he could. We came back the following day & the tattoo he did was honestly the best memorial tattoo ever. She has 2 rabbits & she wanted a yin & yang, so he went above & beyond creating this for her! He designed it to look basically identical to match her rabbits especially Oreo since he was white with black spots! This place has very talented artists & all of them are friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!

Honestly this is one of the best tattoo/piercing shops I’ve ever been to, they are nice and professional! Both Rene and Tara are amazing with Piercings and Hudson did an amazing job on my first tattoo! I will be back in a few weeks to get my second one! So excited! Highly recommend Mothers for tattoos and piercings!
