It takes a lot for me to speak negatively. Wish I could give 0 stars. Unfortunately, a piercer in this shop pierced my 6 year old's ear at an angle, causing her a great deal of pain as it tried to heal. Before the piercing, I pointed out that the marker dot seemed too low, and it was a line covering the bottom of the lobe -- not a dot. The piercer said it would be fine because they would pierce it at the top of the line, and they did not fix the mark. I wish I had not trusted them, but I did, and I allowed them to pierce my child. I will never forgive myself for not knowing better! The earring came out through the bottom of the lobe. The piercer remarked at the time that my child was very tough because she did not flinch or make a sound during the piercing. When we realized the mistake, we went back. The piercer who messed up said nothing about it. The other piercer owned the error, but offered no apology to my child. Instead, they blamed her. They said "This was unfortunately a mishap in the piercing process. Mistakes happen. She might have moved during the piercing process. After it heals, we will pierce it again at no charge." But they had even pointed out that she didn't flinch when it was pierced. Instead of apologizing to the 6 year old who experienced such pain, they blamed her for it. I understand mistakes happen. I just wanted my child to be given an apology, and for the piercer who messed up to get more training. I messaged the shop about all of this, requesting the owner to respond. They responded asking for my phone number, which I sent. That message was read. No phone call. No response. They do not seem to care about my child's pain or making sure the piercer is properly trained. Glad we found a piercer who can handle an ear lobe to do it correctly!

We came in hoping to save the god awful hack job tattoo that my son got elsewhere, and Bill did a fantastic job! He listened to what my son wanted, and it turned out looking very close to what he originally hoped for. We left with smiles and couldn’t be happier with the result.

Usually very happy with Iron Tide, went in today with a gift card for $135 and was told it's unfortunately expired. I would understand it being expired if there was an expiration on said card but there was not. We were told we could not use it until our artist was available which she was not for months. I intended to be a loyal customer as I already was before they moved from Danville. DO NOT BUY ANY GIFT CARDS/CERTIFICATES HERE! They will not honor them!
