Reviews
We rely heavily on Google reviews to help us choose where to go, and Artistic Encounter stood out immediately. Not only is the shop conveniently located, but its showroom is also impressively spacious, immaculately clean, and pleasantly inviting. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by Bill Jack. The atmosphere was relaxed, positive, and free from any tension or distractions. We were welcomed by Billy Jack, who we later discovered is the owner. His approach was both knowledgeable and considerate he took the time to walk us through the entire process, ensuring we never felt rushed or uninformed. The entire team mirrored his professionalism, greeting us with genuine smiles and treating us with the utmost respect. Having visited numerous tattoo shops across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I can confidently say that none compared to Artistic Encounter. Billy Jack's dedication to his craft, his team, and his clients is evident in every interaction. As a family man, his passion extends beyond just running a business he truly cares about the experience he provides. And he's an MMA coach and they train there at the shop! HOW COOL IS THIS!!! If you're looking for a reputable, high-quality tattoo shop, look no further. Artistic Encounter has earned our trust and loyalty, and this will be our go-to shop moving forward. Thank you, Billy Jack, for your hospitality, expertise, and outstanding work. We'll definitely be back! We love our new ink!
Love AE!! Chino Blk did my most recent tattoo & I am HIGHLY SATISFIED. He was cool, humble and funny!! He was very efficient & even showed me every needle he opened; which I appreciate very much. That alone tells me that he cares about his clients AND the quality of his work. I have gotten tattooed at AE & their sister shop; Vixen Body Art. I highly recommend this shop. Will be booking with Chino again! Thanks y’all!
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This review is long overdue, but my sister got a tattoo done here around Halloween last year, and the experience was awful. The first red flag was that the apprentice doing her tattoo was clearly drunk. The second red flag was that their printer wasn’t working — instead of rescheduling, the artist decided to freestyle the tattoo. My sister trusted her judgment and let her continue, but it just kept getting worse. I paid $175 for what turned out to be the worst tattoo I’ve ever seen. I called and spoke with the owner, who said he would set us up with another artist to fix it. After a while, that artist stopped replying, and the issue was never resolved. My little sister cried for days because she felt bad for saying anything, even though she hated how it turned out. I honestly don’t understand how this was allowed to happen or why the apprentice faced no consequences. Completely unprofessional and disappointing experience.
