Midgard Tattoo Company

I got a tattoo reworked today by Tom, the owner. He truly went above and beyond! The tattoo was originally done by a former Midgard employee out of state at another shop which just goes to show how much Tom cares about his artists at the shop, former and current. I'm usually pretty nervous getting tattoo work done by masculine presenting folks, but felt safe and in good hands with him. I got some insight from him as to what might've contributed to my tattoo ending up patchy, and he was VERY patient while explaining and wasn't mansplain-y at ALL while doing so. Shop was very clean but still had plenty of personality which I love to see. It was also very lively! Overall, great experience, great artist, and great shop. Definitely want to come back in the future for more work!

Pam is my forever piercer. I’ve had multiple piercing done by her and her work is absolutely outstanding. She talks you through the process really well and makes you feel very comfortable. She is an expert and runs a very clean and efficient practice. I cannot recommend her enough - I’ve sent friends, family, and co-workers her way as well. I’ve also gotten my shin tattooed here as well and had a wonderful experience! This is an excellent place if you’re looking for a comfortable and safe tattoo/piercing experience.

The talent of Jordy at Midgard is unreal. I’ve had several tattoos done by her and they are ones I constantly look back at throughout the day. The level of detail and style is amazing. I appreciate an artist that has found their sensibility and hers exudes through her lovely energy, her well curated space and the great eye she has for the work she does. She makes the space and session comfortable and it always feels like coming to see a friend when I’m in. I’ve loved chatting with her about her growth as an artist and giggling about mutual points of view. Midgard really is a place that feels like a space for artists and enthusiasts from interesting hand drawn work from talented artists around, to a showcase of a wide variety of beautiful jewelry at the entrance and the overall vibe from the setup and people around. Even when I’ve been later in the evening and other clients have gone, it’s good to see some of the tattoo artists around chatting and discussing outside topics because it shows a sense of community in the space. Most of the time, I drive in from San Antonio to visit Midgard and get something done from Jordy and it is always done without hesitancy and with excitement! Can’t wait for the next!
