Clover Tattoo & Body Piercing

Ty was amazing!! He radiated such positive and comforting energy. I got my septum done while my best friend got an entirely more intimate piercing. He was extremely professional and made sure consent was key in not only her piercings but mine as well. He laughed along at our best friend antics and it definitely helped ease the anxiety of getting pierced. After care was throughly discussed with us and he was very knowledgeable, even answering our very outta pocket questions with a high level of professionalism. I’ve been to many shops in the Des Moines metro area and Ty is the only piercer that both of us felt comfortable with being around. The shop was extremely clean, welcoming and everyone was beyond friendly. Priced very reasonable. We will definitely be back in the future! Thank you!!

very friendly staff+good experience! i went with some friends on a busy day to get a piercing. it’s a huge shop with a ton of room so we weren’t packed in. while we were waiting the artists were making friendly conversation with everyone. i wanted my tongue pierced but the piercer, Ty, let me know i didn’t have the anatomy for it and what would happen if we did it so i got something else. the piercing itself was pretty quick and he was very thorough explaining after care and downsizing and all that. will be returning for piercings/ tattoos in the future!

My Daith earrings fell out while I was at Walmart. Just glad I heard it. Couldn't get it back in, so was referred to Clover, where I met Ty. He was very nice, greeting me as soon as I walked in. I told him my situation, and he was like no problem, we'll get ya taken care of. Had me sit in one of their chairs. He fixed the clasp on the earring, and cleaned it all up, made it look brand new again. Then he put his gloves on and got some instruments out, and put my earring back in. The whole time, keeping a friendly conversation, was the best experience! As if this wasn't awesome enough, there was NO charge. NO CHARGE??? Never been there before, fixed jewelry that wasn't bought there AND cleaned it, And put my earring back in for me. He was super nice, friendly, all around great! Made a customer out of me. Next time I want a piercing or tattoo, I know where I'm going. Ty is awesome!!!
