Electric Narwhal Tattoo

It’s been 27 years since my last tattoo. After experiencing a devastating loss earlier this year I was finally ready for another one. Dustin was so kind and patient with me during this process. I love the way he’s decorated his shop! The nautical bathroom and StarWars back room are so unique. I also really appreciate his diehard commitment to using no animal products during the tattoo process. I’ll be back for more!

Dustin did an AMAZING job on my new poppy tattoo! His line work and shading is spot-on, and of all the tattoo artists I have gotten work from, his is the lightest hand (which is huge considering the tattoo was on my collarbones and lower neck!). His shop is spotless, and extremely hygienic. Bonus for the shop style being cool, and a bigger bonus for being a local Detroiter owned and operated business! I HIGHLY recommend this place! I will be returning for more work!

I randomly found the Electric Narwhal on Google. As soon as I saw their instagram, I knew this was the kind of place I wanted to get tattooed at! The shop has awesome vibes, and you can immediately see it’s an inclusive space. Dustin tattooed a black and gray Sailor Jerry dagger on my arm. He did a fantastic job and I’m so happy with how it turned out! I’ll definitely be back for more.
