I have 5 tattoos by Ralf. All beautiful, all healed. Such a calm presence, and a deep passion for his art and his shop. EP isn’t really a tattoo destination with great artists so if you can get in with Ralf you should!
Saw the shop on Peter Santenello documentary on YouTube! Seems like a cool vibe! Will stop in for ink on our trip through later this year!
5/5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Artist: Luis Lozano Shop: Sunset Tattoo Company, El Paso, TX I’ve been getting tattooed by Luis Lozano for the past three years, and I can honestly say there’s no one else I’d trust with my skin. Even though I live In D.C., I make the trip to El Paso just to get work done by him and that says a lot. Most recently, I got a 15-inch black and white Dragon Ball Z tattoo on my shin featuring Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu. The level of detail Luis put into the piece was unreal. From the fine lines to the shading he made sure every inch was perfect. Nothing is ever rushed and no small detail goes unnoticed. Luis is not only incredibly skilled but also professional and thoughtful. He’s always been flexible with scheduling, which is huge for me since I travel for appointments. He also takes my latex allergy seriously and ensures everything is clean safe and comfortable from start to finish. The shop itself Sunset Tattoo Company is located in the heart of El Paso and has a vintage yet Chuco vibe that immediately puts you at ease that makes visiting El Paso just like home. Everyone there was professional welcoming and down to earth. I even purchased a Gatorade from their drink options, which was a nice touch. I’m already looking forward to trying their gumball machine tattoo dispenser next time I’m in town can’t wait to see what I get! What really stands out about Luis is the pride he takes in his work. He holds himself to a high standard, and it shows. Tattooing is more than ink it’s an art and Luis lives by that with every piece he does. I’ve recommended friends and family and I’ll continue doing so. If you’re looking for a true artist who combines talent professionalism and genuine care Luis at Sunset Tattoo Company is it.
