Grand Legacy Tattoo

Shout out to Grand Legacy Tattoo! If you know, you know. I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my skin and I’ve trusted Stevie since 2011. I’ve seen the evolution of his art and I’ve witnessed GLT rise, since its initial birth in Escondido. I followed Stevie, wherever he went, seeking the admirable skill of a true artist. I’m constantly blown away at the work I receive from GLT. I trust Stevie and his creative mind, to put my ideas to work, in a way that aesthetically compliments the natural curves of my body. I give Stevie my idea, and he turns it into something unbelievable and better than I could ever image. The “vibe” or energy of this shop is like sitting at your family’s house on a holiday. It’s such a welcoming and loving group of people; from the other wonderful artists to the thoughtful and capable piercer. You can tell it’s a community of love vs a business built on coldness and financial hierarchy. You just KNOW the people here will treat you right, provide a very sterile and safe work space along with welcoming you with open arms. They make you feel secure and comforted. I’m so pleased to see the evolution of tattoo culture and this shop is a prime example of this. Professional and comfortable with a handful of wickedly great artists. Can’t recommend enough. I specifically see Stevie for his style of work that coincides with my vision… but if I wanted a STRONG color piece, I’d look to “Milky” or Mike, the coowner and badass producer of some vivid vivid pieces.

I came here for Friday the 13th for a nose piercing and they definitely didn't disappoint!! It turned out so perfectly and I'm so happy I went through with the decision! I also came the week before to get a consultation for a tattoo that went unfinished because my previous artist moved, and I met with Travis to discuss what I was looking for and ultimately made an appointment with him to get it done (finally!) In a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this place for both tattoos and piercings, it's a great atmosphere, the people that work here are super cool, and they have an artist for just about any style you want!

Literally the coolest place!! Let me preface this by saying, I am a wimp. Glasses and dorkyness at all. This place has the MOST WELCOMING VIBES for all!!! Like legitimately, I felt at home, IN A TATTOO PARLOR!! I got Henry, hes an angel in human form 100%. I knew what I wanted and he got the stencil PERFECT, like sizing, details. All of it. And then he told me if I needed a break to let him know!! Even though it was such a tiny tattoo! Oh my word and dont even get me started on value!! I got such a good deal!!! And if you dont feel like talking, dont even worry about it. But he can HOLD A CONVERSATION! And hes so attentive to details. He missed a spot i didnt even notice and then fixed it right away. And then the other artists, their vibes were so cool! The woman was so sweet! She definitely felt comforting! And the other man was also super cool. All in all, 10/10 i will be back. The entire shop feels like its run by a big family!!! Oh and the parking!!! So much good parking!! I feel like good parlors never have enough parking!! But they did!!! I love this place! I will be back for sure. Thank you Henry!
