I have gotten most of my ink done by Bill. I literally can’t commit to much of anything but to Bill and his wonderful tattooing, I am committed. Bill customizes each of my tattoos with a flair that is unmatched. His personality is also what brings me in. The environment is cozy and inviting. The conversation is always interesting. Bill can tell when I’m up to socializing or when I’m feeling particularly introverted. He is focused, with the lightest touch that produced the most intricate work. The pricing is very fair and the quality is wildly good. Truly cannot say enough about this shop and their artists. Bill is my go to guy! 🙌
Yesterday I got my second tattoo by Aliya and I am absolutely IN LOVE. She took the time to create a gorgeous custom chest piece for me and was extremely thoughtful with the design and placement. She works gently, quickly, and efficiently and truly makes the tattoo experience very pleasant. I can not recommend her (or this shop) enough. The shop itself is bright and has good warm energy + the other two artists (Bill and Miles) are really kind and welcoming as well. 10/10!!
My daughters surprised me with a meaningful gift, a tattoo on Mother's Day. I am a 67 year old grandma and never had a tattoo EVER. My soulmate passed on 2 years ago. We were married for 44 years when he took his final breath. I told my girls a year ago that I would love to have a tattoo with their Dad's own handwritten special words in my language, Tagalog. "Mahal Kita". It means "I Love You". My daughters searched for the best Tattoo artist in Placer. They found Mr. Bill from Folsom City Ink. I was scared and hesitant to do it a night before. But when I met Bill and saw his walls full of lovely and meaningful artworks, cleaned, organized, and a gentleman, my fear turned into calmness. I am proud of my 1st tattoo and did it without a scream 😂. I couldn't have done it without Mr. Bill at Folsom City Ink. I'm ready for the next one.
