My son's girlfriend went here on Wednesday January 1, 2025, the guy that did the helix piercing did it while using Vaseline as a lubricant to get the helix bar in the ear, consequently causing she came down with a fever and her ear became red and very swollen. I called another tattoo and piercing company and when I told them about the use of Vaseline they told me to immediately remove the piercing and clean it. The reason for not using Vaseline as a lubricant is that it causes the piercing to become infected as the piercing can't breathe and heal properly.
