Samson's Tattoo Collective LLC

Scott has done all of my tattoos. He’s awesome , very talented and has a personality. Anything I run by him for a tattoo, he will tell me straight up if it will work or not. I’ve had both black and gray and color tattoos. I highly recommend him. Everyone that I’ve met in the shop has been amazing, very nice group of artists.

My sister passed away on October 5, 2024 and I had decided that I wanted to do a tribute tattoo in her honor. She was very fond of lilies and monarch butterflies, so that was the theme I was going for. I contacted a couple of tattoo shops in the Portland area to see about doing my tattoo. One of the shops never responded to my messages and while the other one did, they didn't seem very inclined to want to do my tattoo. You, see, I wanted to schedule my appointment on the 1 year anniversary of her death and the shop that did respond basically told me it wasn't possible, plus they never really responded to the photos I sent them for reference. I found Samson through a Google search and after reading the reviews and looking at some of his work, I decided to reach out. Plus, he is local to Hillsboro, which is where I live. I explained about my sister's passing the want to do a tribute tattoo in her honor on the anniversary of her death Samson responded with "condolences on your loss and I would be honored to create a tattoo in remembrance of your sister" with that I knew he had to be the one to tattoo me. I scheduled the appointment, sent him some images and Samson got to work on bring my tattoo to life. The outcome was better than I could have imagined. Samson is wonderful to work with and takes great pride in his work. I have some other tribute and memorial tattoos in mind and Samson will definitely be my go to guy for those as well. My husband is even planning on getting a new tattoo too. Edit: I also have to add that on the same leg that I did the tribute tattoo for my sister Kristine's passing, I have another tribute tattoo for my oldest sister who passed away in 2010(it was done in Arizona where I lived at the time and is a dragon tattoo) and Samson asked if he could do a little "touch up" on it and didn't charge me to do so.

Scott is awesome. He has done 3 different tattoos of mine. Made sure I was comfortable and stellar work. Chest piece came out great. Nice steady line work on my arm and shoulder as well. All 3 are custom pieces. Inked by Scott on insta if you want to check his work.
