Electric Chair Tattoo & Piercing

I have been using Joey Fonts as my artist for nearly 2 decades...He is clean, precise, and cares about his craft more than any other artists I've ever met. My first tattoo was a recreation of the painting Starry Night by Van Gogh which when you look at it you see it brush strokes for brush strokes. It was 46 hours (obviously not at the same time over a few years as I got pregnant and was nursing my daughter). Joey has done 10 pieces on me and is like a fine wine gets better with age. His line work is unmatched, he can create the most delicate and precise of lines and sharp corners. My last piece of work which was a Best friend tattoo with my lavender husband he free-handed both of them. Joey is the only one who has worked on me despite moving from Lake Charles, Louisiana to San Antonio, Texas. I have traveled back to Lake Charles as well as to Houston on multiple occasions for his hand work. He has a light hand if he didn't he would not be able to get the shading and line work he does so perfectly. One thing I absolutely love and respect about him is if you ask for something in a peculiar place that may bend oddly or a color that will blend in with you tone or not pop he absolutely WILL have that conversation with you. If you still want he will do the work but he cares enough to tell you if it may not come out as your wishing. With all of this what I'm trying to say is if you need work 1000% reach out to Joey Fonts. He's also done my piercing from head to hood and was very gentle, professional and handled my anxiety like a pro.

Tim, the piercing technician is awesome. He is gentle, honest and will make sure that you’re good through the process. Also, the space is nice and clean. The staff has great customer service.

I came in today as a walk-in for a spontaneous belly button piercing after finding this shop online and I’m so glad I did!!!!! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a lovely lady with such cool vibes. I even got to chat with another customer while waiting, which made the experience even nicer. Tim did my piercing, and he was amazing! Super knowledgeable, professional, and made me feel completely comfortable. The whole process was quick with little to no pain at all. Just a heads-up, they only take cash, but there’s an ATM inside which is super convenient. Overall, such a great experience 😃 I definitely recommend this place!
