Pegasus Tattooing and Arts

Such an interesting experience, we were walk ins that asked for 3 designs. They asked if we were comfortable with an apprentice we agreed. We waited an hour for a drawing of colored in simple bat to do a cover up… all black less than 3 inches (not including the other 2). The apprentice was super sweet, however she could not tattoo above the collarbones. So we asked another tattooer if she could do it, she said no she is not tattooing today after their owner said it was between them two when we started the consultation. We said we did not want to come back for it or go to another shop and pay a shop minimum once again because we were already paying that today at their shop. Another artist came in and said “she can do it real quick for $170” it was a 1 and a 3. She wanted $170 for 2 numbers total size of a nickel all together. We immediately declined and gave the apprentice $40 for the hour of her time it took to draw the bat. The place was beautiful, the owner had a really good vibe but unfortunately her staff was a huge let down once she left. I would avoid the front chair on the right side as she finds it appropriate to charge people $170 for 2 small numbers “real quick”, like she’s doing you a favor.

I’ve seen Madi for all of my tattoos! She is truly the best. I can rave about her all day long. She’s so sweet, fast, gentle, and talented! My whole family also sees her and we love her and her work! I recommend Madi to everyone. Also Pegasus is such a cute and cool environment.
