Made appointments to get 2nd holes on my lobes done, and my sister wanted her forward helix re-pierced bc she assumed they had closed up. We met with Calah and had a wonderful experience. She explained everything in clear detail. I even asked her to look at a previous piercing i was concerned with, and she gave me some advice to help fix it. She even saved sis some money by fixing her original piercing rather than piercing it again. Great selection of jewelry, clean and welcoming shop.

This is a long one but worth it! After getting a rec online that Golden Halo was an all-gender and lgbt-inclusive piercing studio, I booked an appointment for my girlfriend to surprise her with lobe piercings that she's wanted for forever. She didn't want to walk in to a random tattoo studio that also pierces (not that those are a problem, just not what she was comfy with), and she was reluctant to get pierced because she was worried about how she'd be received by staff because of her gender presentation. Piercer Calah Rose greeted us warmly and immediately put us at ease, sharing their pronouns and asking if we had any pronoun preferences in a way that was so natural and welcoming for us, and I know wouldn't bother a cis person either! Calah introduced the studio, talked us through the entire process, helped us pick out jewelry, and gave us exact pricing before getting anything started to make sure that we were OK with it. Then they explained to gf how the studio cleans all equipment and jewelry, including a sanitization test that she would show us as proof before gf moved forward with getting pierced. The actual piercing experience was private and comfortable, and when gf got a head rush from the pain, Calah knew exactly what to do to help her calm down and feel better, including giving her a snack and a drink, talking her through easy grounding techniques, and even fanning her as she chilled out! Calah was SO patient and amazing at every point in the process. If you have any hesitancy, have special physical or mental needs, or anxiety about getting pierced, this is the place to go. It was "just" lobe piercings, but I would trust this studio with anything at this point! They obviously take their work very seriously in a good way, and it will give your piercing the best chance to heal and look great. Bonus points: I messed up my reservation when I first booked it, and they immediately rebooked me via text message without any hassle or waiting. Studio is clean and lovely!

I’ve been getting pierced here for a couple years now. Absolutely love Ashley and Calah, they make me feel so comfortable and explain everything so thoroughly. I cheated on them for a septum and nostril piercing because I’m out of state and didn’t feel like driving down. I regret it but they took me back lol came to Calah today and she got me and my sister all fixed up. Don’t cheat on your piercers! Can’t wait to come back for more 🩵
