Very rude staff, specially the women there rushed my tattoo process. I have to say tho the person who actually did my tattoo (who was a guy) was very nice and respectful. And did a good job on my tattoo but I just wish the women there let me think about the tattoo that was gonna go on my body for the rest of my life. I was 18 (I’m 19 now) I’m writing this so you all know to make sure you know what you want cause they don’t appreciate when you come in and have an idea of what you want but you want them to draw out the tattoo. Thy won’t draw a tattoo for you. They want you in and out. As fast as possible. Also very overpriced. I ended up getting a tattoo on my hand cause they only gave me small options. And it ended up getting recked in 2 weeks because no one in my household would do dishes but me. I’m not saying this is the tattoo shops fault I just wish they would’ve drawn out the flower to put it on my thigh, which is what I originally asked them to do. And they refused. And they also never told me the shop minimum was $100. And if the that’s the minimum you should tell the person when your putting a permanent tattoo on their body. $120 for a little tattoo that faded in a little over 2 weeks is absurd.

Awesome shop! Second tattoo here ans got right in with a great artist. It was a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon and it was super easy and professional. I will for sure use this sgop again in the future!

This is from Dana Howard at Mercy Seat (July 2017). The reason I am adding a review now is because I recently was tattooed by a different artist and it is healing beautifully and has been such a wonderful experience! Now that I am more educated, I realize this 2017 tattoo was not done well. You can see where she went too deep with the needle. The depth was all over the place, it was overworked, and the lines are thick. It obviously did not heal well! Dana did not use saniderm and sent me off with a black bandage and some tape. I followed her aftercare instructions (antibacterial hand soap & a light layer of lubriderm) and it still scabbed horribly which caused ink loss. She did do a "touch up" on it a few months later and said it healed poorly due to my physical activity during the healing process. Though it could have contributed, I don't think that was entirely to blame. In my opinion, she is a heavy handed tattoo artist. Hopefully she is using saniderm / tegaderm these days and is producing better healing tattoos. I agree with Shelby (review below) that Dana was short with her words and did not check in with me during the process. When I contacted her about this tattoo, she was also short in communication. I would not recommend her.
