I came across Daniel’s portfolio on Instagram while I was searching for an artist to do a cover-up. When I saw that he enjoys creating Christian tattoos, I felt even more confident reaching out. As we started discussing the cover-up, Daniel provided thoughtful guidance and education that I hadn’t considered before. Because of the placement on my upper arm—with the cover-up extending onto the tricep—he explained how the arm is naturally divided into visual segments and that, to create a cohesive and complete piece, we needed to fully commit to filling that section rather than just placing something over the old tattoo. Although we didn’t end up using my original Pinterest inspiration, we instead built upon the existing tattoo, adding depth and color in a way that not only made the piece stronger but completely covered a tattoo that had made me self-conscious for over a decade. I truly appreciate Daniel’s honesty, clear communication, and dedication to producing high-quality, meaningful work. I couldn’t be happier with the result.
