My wife and I decided to get matching lock and key tattoos, choosing Cate and True Love Tat2. It was my first tattoo, and my wife’s first in over two decades. Cate’s relaxed demeanor put us at ease as we spent the afternoon designing and receiving our custom tattoos.

I’ve been working with Cate since 2020 on various tattoos. She does phenomenal work and is incredibly knowledgeable- especially when it comes to lines and text. Highly, highly recommend Cate for any tattoo you’re thinking of getting. Sometimes tattoo artists will only do specific types of designs, but mine aren’t even close to what she displays and she has worked with me. Plus, she’s calm and collected which helps a ton! I wouldn’t hesitate sending anyone I know to Cate.

Cate at True Love Tat2 is great to work with, and her shop just moved to downtown Madison! She collaborates and designs with her clients, and she communicates without disappearing to go draw out of sight somewhere. Cate is an artist who has mastered lots of different tattoo styles with precise, clean results - traditional, realistic, ornamental, and other unique styles.
