Black Cloud Tattoo and Piercing

I’ve had seven piercings done at Black Cloud, and every experience has been phenomenal. Frankie, Katy, and Maya have all been incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They took the time to answer every question I had and made sure I fully understood the aftercare process. I truly appreciate their patience and care — it makes all the difference.

I went in for a navel piercing, and at first I thought my piercer Mayaa was very sweet and cool—but I was nervous and didn't question anything at the time. What's surprising is the fact that I lifted my shirt when she asked to see my belly button, then she said it was perfect. She did not ask me to sit to check my anatomy, nor did she pierce me with the correct length bar or jewelry. I did not leave with an aftercare sheet, and she did not talk much during the entire process, nor did she seem like she wanted to be there at the moment. I'm pretty sure that she didn't tell me I should get it downsized, or when I should get it downsized. I would like to note that Mayaa was still kind during the piercing and was very understanding when I asked to reposition the marks. When I went back to get downsized, because my jewelry was snagging and bothering me, Frankie told me that I got pierced with the wrong jewelry and reminded me that I was supposed to receive an aftercare sheet. The only reason why I gave this shop 2 stars is because I cannot give them 1 out of thankfulness to Frankie. When I told her that I feel like I have a winking navel, she checked my anatomy in the correct manner. She gave me a cute floating navel bar and made the entire experience very smooth (which i should have been pierced with originally). She even wrote down the material of jewelry I should purchase when I said I have sensitive/allergy-prone skin. Although she did not do my piercing, she gave me an aftercare sheet and was very kind. It seems as if my piercing has slightly migrated due to the 14mm long bar that I was initially pierced with. My only regret is not getting pierced by Frankie initially.

Came in last week to have my nose ring put back in and Frankie was a dream! So kind, gentle, and checked in any time I remotely tensed up. I’ve worked with a lot of different piercers and I would definitely say she is top two. Strong, attentive, and kind.
