HIGHLAND SHOP

I’ve gotten tattoos from crash and Kayla and both have done a phenomenal job! The atmosphere there is friendly and like you’re hanging out with your best friends! We drive an hour and a half to come here, even when we know there are artists closer to us - that doesn’t matter, we have found a place we love and refer people to often! Highly recommend!!!

My husband (Matt) and I went into the Highland shop to get a “Get What You Get” tattoo for a spontaneous date night activity following a lovely dinner at Hen House. I didn’t get our artists’ names but they were both so nice and very personable. My artist was an older gentleman who’d been tattooing for 25 years and my husband’s artist was a younger, Filipino man who wore headphones. We were the only clients on a Friday at 9pm, so we felt like VIPs. My artist offered to color and shade my tattoo for free (this isn’t typical for a GWYG tattoo) because it was slow. I thought that was so nice! I took him up on it and he gave great recommendations on color based on my darker skin color. He was so knowledgeable and was basically a jack of all trades! Before we left, the older artist offered to do any touch-ups we needed for free. I wish I had gotten their names, but we were vibing so much that I was content to just chat and laugh with them. My husband and I will definitely be back to get more points for a discounted tattoo and to utilize Kayla (the apprentice) for her cute $40 tattoos also. I hope those artists find this review. We would love to work with you guys again! Thank you for the lovely experience and helping end our date night on a high note!

Everything was great! I got checked in and pierced in less than 30 mins....spent more time talking lol. They weren't really crowded at the time however even if they were im sure my service would still have been quick and easy. Very clean laid back atmosphere and my piercer was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gentle.The process was relatively painless...like a mosquito bite. I was pierced in like 2 seconds lol. I got exactly what I wanted and it's healing nicely. I highly recommend and would definitely come back. I love it!!!!!
