Ruben Alcantar is a thief. I paid him 4k in Oct of 2023 for sleeve work, I have received 1 tattoo between then and now. It took a year to get to that one tattoo. His communication skills are terrible he dodged my messages, emails, calls, fb, you name it. If you want to give your money to this unprofessional I'd suggest you do it after the work is done.

I actually found Daniel by accident. He and I share the same first and last name and a friend of mine saw a post of his on Instagram and thought it was me initially. I contacted Daniel through Instagram and made an appointment because I thought he would be able to help me enhance one of my current tattoos. It's actually a very recent tattoo of a ghost but I had him enhance it with more of a calaveras Day of the Dead feel. He did all of the design work before my visit and was ready to do the work when I showed up. We laughed about the name similarity and that being the reason I found him. He did a great job and I'm really happy with the result. The shop was nice and pretty easy to find since it's behind the big black rabbit door off of KK. Definitely recommend Daniel especially if you need something totally custom.
