Duel In The Sun Tattoo

I had a great experience at Dual in the Sun Tattoo Parlor and I’m very happy with the work I received. AJ is a legend—very knowledgeable, talented, and professional. He specializes in American Traditional and Japanese Traditional tattooing, and his experience really shows. Anyone he trusts to tattoo in his shop is someone I would trust to tattoo me. The shop is very professional and runs the right way. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality work.

Set up an appointment online and heard back very quickly. Scheduled an appointment for a traditional Japanese half sleeve with AJ and he has done a fantastic job. I gave AJ a bare overview of what I'd like to incorporate into my sleeve and let AJ run with it. He took his time and came up with a great design. Nothing half-assed. Will need at least another session to complete the tattoo but I'm looking forward to going back and seeing how it turns out. Everyone I met at the shop was super chill and AJ was very professional and obviously very talented. Clean shop, talented and friendly artists. It was a really good experience and I'm glad I went with them. Highly recommend.

Awesome little hole in the wall. Super cool building layout with two floors of parlour space. Emma was kind, professional, and helped my partner find the perfect style, placement and size for her tattoo idea. Very personable and easy to talk to. Amazing work from her and we will both be coming back next time we are in Nashville.
