Painful Genius Art & Tattoo is a friendly, clean, and accommodating environment. Tez, the artist who tattooed me is a master at his craft and I can't recommend his work and studio enough. 12/10 will get tattooed here again.
Went for Friday the 13th, had Dev as my artist. Pros: everyone at the shop is super friendly, seemed clean. Cons: the event was a bit unorganized and I’m not super happy with this tattoo. You can see the stencil and then what was put on me is super thick and doesn’t match. She also disappeared for like 10 minutes 2 times in the middle of my tattoos (we had already been there since 11:30 and didn’t leave until 8 pm….) I would go back but not go to Dev again.
I recommend this shop to everyone. For my 1st tattoo, Tez did a sleeve on my right arm and I couldn’t be more pleased with the work, the shop, the people at the shop and the vibes. Definitely a welcoming environment and very clean also. 10/10 recommend and I always get asked who did my tattoo work. I’ll definitely return
