I don’t write many reviews, but I felt compelled to share only because my experiences have been beyond amazing. From the second I walked in on the first day, my apprehensive, anxious, self was welcomed like an old friend. While consulting with Ryan I felt heard and when I came back for my appointment I was thoroughly amazed that he had listened to exactly what I wanted and added some of his creativity and ideas, that I greatly appreciated since I lack any creativity. He has brought a 12 year old sleeve on my arm that was the bane of my existence from another “artist”, back to life. I don’t think many understand the constant dread of having a whole arm tattoo you hated and didn’t fully design, be fixed into something you can’t stop looking at. Beyond his talent and personality, the whole vibe in the shop is phenomenal. I felt instantly immersed into what felt like hanging out in a high school basement with that loving type banter between what felt like people who have been together forever. And when I say basement, this studio is absolutely nothing like a basement. Pristine cleanliness is an understatement. Enough blabbing. I can’t recommend this studio enough , can’t wait for my next appointment with Ryan, hopefully come up with something cool for Molly to design and hope one day I am cool enough and brave enough to make it onto Samma’s list. 🤪

My friend and I got pierced yesterday by Bri, and we had a wonderful experience! Bri made us feel so comfortable from the moment that she whisked us in the door for a spontaneous appointment-- the studio is COOL! The comfy waiting area, the galaxy painted walls, the decor, featuring legos and nerd culture -- we felt instantly at home! Bri herself is warm, down to earth, and was so easy to talk to. From start to finish she handled the appointment with professionalism and empathy. I was extremely nervous for my piercing, but after a little bit hanging out with Bri, felt comfortable going through with it. I'm SO happy that I did, I love my new piercings!!! I highly recommend Bri & Samma Charles Art, and look forward to coming back for my 6 week check in & future piercings!

So Molly was my artist. She's incredibly talented--both in artwork and in the actual tattooing. Pleasure to spend time with while she's working-- definitely not boring. I would not hesitate to go to her again and/or to recommend her to anyone. Be sure to ask her about the chicken story.
