I came in a little over a week ago to get my first piercing. I got my nose and belly button pierced in the same service. When picking out the belly jewelry I specifically asked the piercer what type of jewelry is recommended since it’s my first time. She told me the one I picked was fine. My nose was super easy and I haven’t had any problems with my nose. When doing my belly button, she pierced it with the needle and forgot to bring the belly jewelry in arms reach so my cousin had to put on a glove and help the piercer. After a week I started noticing the jewelry was digging into my skin really bad, turning red & it was very irritated. It hurt so bad just from any slight movement. At that point I knew for certain I needed a longer bar. I called the shop & got in as soon as I could to get a longer bar. The piercer I got that time told me the previous one made the piercing too big and the bar I had was definitely too short. He replaced it and still charged me $40 for the replacement with the longer bar. I’m still dissatisfied because I waited until I am 31 years old to finally get a piercing and now my skin is so red and irritated from the previous jewelry. It will probably take even longer to heal and I’m hoping it doesn’t leave a bad scar.
Just came in and had Andrew pierce both of my ears! Quick job, done nice and cleanly. Great shop, friendly staff! Definitely will come back.
I tried to get my helix piercing shortened. I set an appointment but when I got there, I was last in line to a bunch of walk ins. I waited thirty minutes past the planned time, and I would’ve have to wait over an hour for my turn even though no one else had an appointment. It was busy, unorganized, and overpriced.
