Sam is simply the best! She is incredibly sweet, professional, and impressively fast, which made the whole experience completely easy and stress-free. I got my belly button pierced with her, and I was honestly shocked at how quick and painless it was! I really appreciated how thorough she was in discussing the aftercare to ensure a smooth healing process; she even gave great recommendations for different oils to help. I’ve followed up with her since to check in on the piercing, and every time we talk, it’s so clear that she truly cares about her clients and is incredibly knowledgeable. While the entire shop is professional and clearly filled with genuine talent, Sam is an absolute standout. I truly won’t go anywhere else :)
Sam is the best Piercing artist I've ever had the pleasure of having stick a needle through my face, who embodies expertise, knowledge, and was as precise and quick as a ninja, and gentle as a bunny. She completely reduced the amount of pain to that which is only absolutely necessary, and MARITIME IS LIKE 40 BUCKS LESS THAN 454, AND AT LEAST 15-25 than Tracy's, and Maritime throws in real jewelry instead of a twisted up pin for a nostril piercing. And it didn't swell enough to necessitate something other than regular jewelery, which should say ALOT... Honestly, those things should tell you everything you need to know...
I recently visited this tattoo and piercing shop for two facial piercings. Initially, I selected jewelry that I felt would be most comfortable and conducive to proper healing. However, the piercer recommended hoop-style jewelry for both piercings, which didn’t align with my preferences or healing needs. After following his advice, both piercings experienced complications and began to reject. I also returned for a follow-up on a surface piercing that wasn’t healing well, and the piercer assured me that everything was normal and no changes were needed. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case, and the piercing continued to have issues. Overall, I was disappointed with the guidance and the outcome. I’d recommend others to carefully consider their options and potentially seek a second opinion before committing.
