Last Wolves Tattoo Society

Today I visited this shop for the first time. I had a consultation with Mitch, the owner, about some possible cover ideas for a sleeve. As soon as I walked in, nobody said a word to me for like 5 minutes as I just stood at the door. I was going to go up to an artist's station unless he was ready. Then, one of the artists finally asked what I was there for. I said I had an appointment at 1 pm with the owner. Mitch finally told me to come on back where he was tattooing another client. We started chatting for a few minutes about some details. But I quickly picked up on his off-putting arrogant demeanor and didn't want to use him. And it was like he wasn’t even expecting to me!! And it seemed like he wasn't really interested in talking to me at all, or was being judgmental. The whole vibe as soon as I walked in was just off to me. I would have gladly paid him for all of the sessions, as I was looking for a good artist and he looked skilled from his content, seeming cool. But I left and decided to cancel my appointment, even though I took a loss on the $100 deposit, because I need to vibe with someone to do business with. So, you shouldn't schedule consultations if you're not really going to do them. I just wish I wouldn’t have book early and drove 45 min to waste…

Mitch W. at Last Wolves Tattoo is hands down the best tattoo artist in OKC! He has done nearly all of my wife’s tattoos and the majority of my own work over the years, and every experience has been top-notch. Mitch is incredibly helpful with placement ideas, making sure everything turns out perfect. The shop is always clean and sterile, which is a huge plus when you're looking for a professional tattoo shop in Oklahoma City. Mitch is super friendly and will keep a conversation going if that's what you're into, but he’s also totally cool if you want to zone out with your headphones during your session. If you’re searching for a talented OKC tattoo artist who takes pride in their work and provides a comfortable environment, Mitch W. at Last Wolves Tattoo is the one to go to. I can't recommend him enough!
