I cannot say enough about Tempest Piercing! The shop itself is so warm and inviting, so great vibes right when you walk in the door. It was my first time in a while getting a piercing, and the staff was wonderful. They walked through realistic expectations of placement, healing, and really took into account my daily life to fit me with the jewelry and piercings that would work best for me. Jo took their time marking my ears before piercing, and during the actual process they spoke words of affirmation and encouragement. Honestly, I didn’t feel anything and it took maybe 20min tops from walking in to leaving. They made sure I was comfortable before getting off the table. I left the shop with some saline (extra 10$) and a goodie bag with after care instructions and gummy bears! I cannot wait for my ears to heal so I can go back for more. I’ll be recommending them to everyone. Oh, and they give back to local charities, and put a beautiful flyer in the goodie bag. Small businesses supporting local communities has my business for life any day!

I went in today for a consult and immediately knew I’d love the place. The vibes are great, Kat took such good care of me and we had many laughs during my time there. She made me feel so comfortable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and she answered all my questions. She asked for consent at every step and made me feel so safe. I didn’t wind up getting the piercing I intended to (after an in depth anatomy discussion/explanation) but was able to get one I’ve wanted for a while and update jewelry in another. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been pierced here many times, and it’s always an amazing experience. Kat and Jo are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met and you can tell they are truly passionate about piercing. If you are nervous about getting pierced, don’t worry because they will walk you through the entire process. I usually have lots of questions about my piercings, and Kat answers them all very patiently. There is nowhere else I would rather go for my piercings. I feel so welcome here :)
