Top Rocker Tattoo

My friends and I are visiting Phoenix from out of town and happened to come across Top Rocket Tattoo while exploring. On a whim, we decided to stop in and see if there was any chance we could get tattooed while we were in town, and we’re so glad we did. We went in the day before our hoped-for appointments and the artists were DOPE. Super sweet, genuinely funny, and very easy to talk to. We told them what we were thinking and they were able to get us scheduled in quickly (clearly since they had availability the next day!). If you’re considering trying for a walk-in, I’d definitely recommend just going in and asking, you might get lucky. They require a $100 deposit, and they can even take it via Apple Pay if needed (though cash is preferred), which made everything really convenient. Seth did my tattoo and one of my friend’s pieces, and he absolutely crushed it! Efficient, talented, and made the whole experience comfortable and fun. And one of the other artists who did our other friend’s tattoo and hers turned out amazing as well. Both artists were incredibly kind, professional, and clearly passionate about their work. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe overall. We seriously couldn’t recommend this place enough. If we’re ever back in Phoenix, we’ll definitely be coming through again.

I first went in Top Ricker Tattoo because I had seen it on Instagram. I went in to meet the artists and check out the vibe. I was impressed that each tattooer is actually a true artist, not just a tattooer. I went in because both my son (16) and my wife I owe tattoo's for, but both I wanted to be custom and done professionally. A few weeks later I brought the family, to include my 10 year old. The artists treated my family with kindness explained the process thoroughly, and we had Ernie "SERV1" do their drawings and tattoos. We started with my son. We were treated like family there, which is hard to find these days especially at a tattoo shop. My son got a memorial tattoo for his Grand Ma, my Mom. I stayed the whole time and Ernie ensured both myself and my son were comfortable and good the whole time. Anytime my son needed a break Ernie was cool with it and never got frustrated or upset, as i have seen many other tattooers do in the past, but not at Top Rocker. We spoke about the business I'm opening up and with barely knowing him he wants to help me succeed and guide me in anyway he can. If that's not family and showing a stranger love, I don't know what else it would be. My sons tattoo came out perfect, exactly what he wanted and I'm a little jealous but couldn't be more happy with the work done and the new friends I have made. While there, there was was a walk-in customer who wanted a piece on his arm and another artist did it, and that customer was treated very professionally, and it was done very nicely and within about 2 hours. If you are thinking of getting a tattoo Top Rocker Tattoo is the spot to go. Stay tuned for my next review of my wife's cover up tattoo, and it's not some small piece either we are excited and looking forward to it.

A solid 5 star review, I got my first tattoo with Ernie as my artist. He is spectacular, skilled, experienced and took all the nerves out of an otherwise intimidating experience. I absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo. The artwork is exactly what I wanted it to be and the lines are so clean and smooth. Hands down 10/10
