Big Iron is an outstanding shop that delivers an absolutely top-tier experience. I’ve worked with Alec, Chris, Gianna, and the owner himself, and every interaction has been exceptional. Alec is the talented newcomer with huge potential and an impressive portfolio backed by natural gift. Chris is a master of the craft—vastly experienced, highly skilled, and capable of handling virtually anything in the shop. Gianna completely amazed me with her piercing expertise; it was so smooth and painless that I barely registered it happening (I suspect I was momentarily mesmerized by her perfect eyebrows and slipped into a brief, envious trance). The owner sets an inspiring example that the whole team clearly follows, and he’s genuinely fascinating to talk to. He’s also a huge fan of the 1987 cult classic RoboCop—which I now make a point of rewatching every time before my visit for good luck. I wholeheartedly recommend Big Iron Tattoo to anyone, whether local, in-state, or traveling from farther away, looking for a premium tattoo or piercing experience.

I have gotten two tattoos from this shop, both Jon and Alec are very patient. Jon for doing my first tattoo (3 hours!) and Alec for tattooing me after a major piercing. Daisy has done 4 piercings for me now and each and everyone of them have healed nicely and there were no issues! Very professional all around and very understanding and kind. 10/10 recommend
