I’m from out of town, I travel and get tattoos. That’s what do. I call this place at 8:30pm. They say as long as I get there before 10pm they will be able to take a small size walk in! I drive 18 minutes. I get to the shop, 9:10pm. I see two gentlemen inside talking and I push on the door and it’s locked. The guy inside was mouthing somthing with the other one looking annoyed. I beckoned him over explain to him that were from out of town, I travel and get tattoos, I mention my phone call earlier and instead of conducting business I am blown away with the number of excuses on why he couldn’t tattoo. The shop hours posted are 10pm for closing. He was already packed up and leaving by 9:10pm! What the hell? So now I’m begging him to do art work? No. As an artist myself this was lazy lazy lazy attitude and self sabotage for his career. Pathetic. Lost a customer and possible friend. Do not recommend. >:|
Best place in town for bold, colorful, traditional tattoos. I have pieces from Becka and Todd and have seen lots of pieces from Danny, Keith, and others. Becka's work has held up for 5+ years and random people will stop me to ask where I got them every single time I wear a tank. 20+ tattoos and not a single infection or bad heal. Very solid, old-school shop. That being said, I don't think this is the right place if you're looking for a boutique to do dainty single-needle Pinterest stuff or realistic black/white portraits. The artists here are also not required to make small talk with you and might instead just remain quiet as they focus on tattooing you, so don't expect cheery customer service voices and free therapy while you sit.
I’ve had two great experiences with this tattoo parlor. The artists are professional and welcoming, and experienced.
