Ash creates stunning tattoos and cultivates a welcoming, friendly, and calming environment! I went to them for my first tattoo, and it was a custom piece black and white piece inspired by one of my favorite books. I was able to specify what I wanted in the initial booking form. They communicated with me through every step of planning the tattoo, the process of getting it, and the aftercare. When I arrived, they showed me their idea and reworked the sketch on the spot based on my feedback. I was very excited to see their vision for the tattoo, but I also appreciated that they were taking in my input. I was unsure how to articulate some of the design elements and exact placement of the tattoo, but Ash asked me questions that helped create a piece I am so happy with. They asked me if there was a comfort show or movie I wanted to put on, and that helped put me at ease during the process. Aside from the usual anxieties of first tattoos, I tend to feel a lot of anxiety around going to new places and meeting new people, but Ash made it feel like I was chatting to a friend (who just happened to also be adding a piece of art to my arm!) The details and shading are absolutely beautiful. The price was very reasonable, especially after comparing some estimates I received from other artists in the area. I would recommend Ash for their artistry alone, but also highly recommend them if you are getting your first tattoo or are nervous about the tattoo process. I plan on returning to Over the Moon for future tattoos!

Such a great experience with Ash! Their talent is unmatched. The tattoo exceeded my expectations. Legitimately the most comfortable, laid back tattoo experience ever. We watched some cute spooky movies! 🎃🍂 I added a photo of my tattoo, but keep in mind it has second skin on it!! Even with it, it’s gorgeous! Ty ty, Ash!

Ash is the best! I now have five beautiful tattoos by them and I receive compliments every time they're visible. The colors are gorgeous and saturated, the artwork is incredible, and the actual designwork is very thoughtfully done. In addition to great work, Ash is kind, professional, and creates a great environment for getting tattooed. Over the Moon Tattoo is clean and cozy.
