Freaks and Geeks Tattoo Studio

I walked by on a whim, stomach full of Thai food, close to closing at freaks and geeks and Jason the owner took fantastic care of me. I was in at 6:40, with a 9:40 flight, and Jason gave me exactly the tattoo (my first) I’ve been wanting all done by 7:35. He was super nice and did an excellent job!

I was referred to Freaks and Geeks by a friend who had his sleeve done by Jason. I shared my ideas and initial drawings with him and we came up with a plan. Jason’s artistic skills and vision are phenomenal. We began with a half sleeve traditional koi pattern. It went so well we continued on with the bottom half again in traditional Japanese artistic style with cherry blossoms, a hand painted silk fan and a well known castle. Jason’s ability to tie the two projects together took a keen eye. I would highly recommend him for any and all ink work: he’s a one of a kind artist.

Been a month since I got my tattoo done at Freaks & Geeks. It has healed up nicely and looks great. Super nice studio, Jason is very cool and professional. My tattoo was done my Derek, who was awesome. Very friendly and made me feel comfortable. It was a pleasure hanging out with them for a couple hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get work done in NE Portland.
