Rose & Dagger Tattoo & Piercing

Went to get a small tattoo I have wanted for years, now that my brain is fully developed. Kat did an amazing job, it was on my neck and truly very minimal pain. Great clean lines, she had a few designs ready for me when I arrived and worked with me to get the perfect size and placement. I brought my partner with me and we decided to also get tiny fine line matching tattoos and they are also lovely! It was really comforting to see how hygienic Kat was with the setup swap and how detailed she was in ensuring we would truly like the placement. Very easy to talk to, very great at listening to changes, felt super comfortable! 12/10 female tattoo artist!

Kat is the best! I have been seeing her for a few years now, and she never fails to give me beautiful tattoos that I love. I always put my full trust in her, and I love to see what she creates with the concepts I throw at her, but she is also so good at working with people to give them EXACTLY what they’re looking for! Her lines are crisp, her hand is light, and her work holds up well over time. My dad has had a few tattoos done by various artists, but when I took him to see Kat with me for a matching tattoo, he was blown away by her work and how minimal the pain was. All of my (8) tattoos by Kat healed amazingly, and so far have not required any touch-ups. I originally got some little sticker designs from her years ago at a flash event, and she later added on to them to make them more cohesive with the other art on my arm. Even my more intricately designed ones, like my skeleton dude, have not muddied or faded over the last couple of years. The lines have remained crisp and I trust her work to not blow-out like when I have tried going to other artists. I will be a client of Kat’s for life. I am so excited that I got to visit her this week at Rose and Dagger for this “funny bunny”! The shop is covered in amazing traditional tattoo flash designs and is staffed with some really awesome artists. I saw how much care the other artists put into the other clients while I was there, even their quick walk-in requests. I felt very comfortable in the little oasis they have created in this shop, and I can’t wait to go back again and again :)

Jon Crook is the GOAT. Such a chill, attentive, and talented tattooer. Have had the best ongoing experience with blackout/blackwork from Jon who is totally brilliant at what he does. Very chill and comfortable shop. Ty!
