Matty Esswein

Matty has tattooed me multiple times when he was located in Denver, CO! He is by far the best tattoo artist I have ever been to! All of his work is so beautiful and even after 5+ years with some of his tattoos, the colors are still bold, beautiful, and super vibrant. Every idea I've brought to him he has brought to life exactly how I imagined it! I've even got plenty of his flash designs that I am in love with! He is super kind and patient and I would trust him with any of my ideas. I truly cannot recommend Matty enough!

Matty absolutely crushed a design he had drawn up and brought it to life on my forearm. It's one of my favorite tattoos and I love looking down at it. Super creative guy, clean confident lines and excellent shading. I couldn't be happier. Matty is also just a really good dude and easy to have a conversation with. I can't wait for my next appointment with him to add another favorite.

Matty tattooed me three years back, I gave him a rough idea of a "space skull" and at the appointment, he had like a half dozen ideas and sketches for me to peruse through which was bonkers in the best way to me. All the designs were wicked but he had one that especially caught my eye! Matty is a great tattooer, a good dude to talk, and the skull has healed and settled in amazingly. It has been in my skin for three years and it still pops!!! once I figure out my next "wild-style" tattoo, I will be hitting Matty up!
