My artist was JEJU, he really did an amazing job bring my sketch to life. I loved how passionate he was to work on my idea and how patient he was with my tattoo especially when it took over 10 hrs. He made sure every detail and color was exactly how I wanted it. Truly grateful for his time and patience. Most definitely will come back for another piece and of course the vibes ! Everything was clean and sterilized. This place makes you feel welcomed by everyone. 100% recommend JEJU.
tldr: Mirella is AMAZING, kind, patient, and her black/grey/shading linework and flowers are like master art drawings (I say as an artist myself); the address is wrong on the website, right on google (12221 Parklawn) - when you get there, go through the right-most of the two glass front doors, head straight back (like to where the bathroom is), and turn left then right then left then right (at this point you'll see small signs on the wall) and the studio is on the left side of the building hallway, first floor (I didn't know where to go and someone had to come out and get me lol) Longer: So I have never had a tattoo but have long wanted one. Finally I was like, f it, why wait? So I researched a LOT, looked at a ton of profiles, and realized Mirela had exactly the style I wanted. Her beautiful linework and shading are organic and flowy, her flowers are magical ... I reached out and we set up a consult. First, I'm not your typical tattoo demographic (maybe small decorative tattoos I guess?). Everyone there, customers and artists, were much younger. But everyone treated me so kindly and I didn't feel the tiniest bit out of place either time I went. Super nice people. I showed Mirela what I wanted, we talked, and set up the appointment. She took my concept and said she'd have the final design the day of. At the appointment she showed me how she had transformed my idea and it was BEAUTIFUL. She was VERY patient with me as we figured out the precise size and placement, even erasing the stencil and repositioning it twice to make sure it was exactly what I wanted, and the whole time she reassured me it was fine and she wanted me to be happy since it's permanent. Complete kindness and patience. We got started and, while I have no frame of reference, she seemed to me to have a light hand. It was an 8 hour tattoo (middle back) and she frequently asked me if I needed to stop for a bit, stretch, if I was okay - she really takes her time to look after her clients. And when she finished ... it is STUNNING. Like stunning. My daughter (who has tattoos and friends with tattoos) said it is the best tattoo she's ever seen in real life (as opposed to a photo of someone with a tattoo). I agree. We talked about maybe adding some color later, but honestly I'm so in love with it as it is, I think I'll likely just move onto another area, since I have a few other plans down the line. I'll definitely return to Mirela, no question. I hope this review means I have to wait an extra month for my appointment because honestly she deserves that, she's so talented, but if so, I'm okay with that. 10/10 recommend the studio itself - chill atmosphere, extremely nice people - and 12/10 recommend Mirela. (I've never met anyone at the studio before, and they didn't have any "please review us" notes or anything - I just write reviews when I consider someone exceptional because I rely on the reviews of others, and given that this is a permanent body alteration and people should be happy, I thought this was an important review to share.)
I met Jeramee for the first time yesterday and he was very welcoming and kind. I saw his work on Instagram and came to him to do a very difficult hand tattoo coverup. I thought I would be stuck with the original design but after some planning we were able to completely cover up the old tattoo. He is a very skilled artist and I recommend him to everyone! Thank you, Jeramee!
