I will never stop returning to Affirmation Tattoo! This shop is full to the brim with good vibes and beautiful humans. I was already a client of Melissa's before she opened Affirmation and it has been an incredible transition to watch. She's always been an amazing artist and I am honored to have several of her pieces on my skin forever, but it's so stinkin cool to see her shine as a business owner who created such an inclusive and welcoming space! The other artists that have joined the shop share Melissa's views on equality and kindness, and no matter who is present you never feel out of place. I've been tattooed by Michelle there too, and her work is also phenomenal! I recommend this place every chance I get! Make sure to check it out for your next project.

Connecting with Melissa in 2024 and now again in 2025 was such a bright spot of joy, genuine connection, silliness and my first beautiful tattoo! Melissa has created such a wonderful environment at Affirmation Tattoo. She walked me through my very first tattoo experience. From initial zoom consultation, to taking time with the design process and easing nerves during the first sitting— I loved the entire process! Having curated permanent art has been an amazing addition and connection to self expression. Melissa’s artistic talent, skill and kind heart really shine through! The people here are so lovely! I worked with Alyshia and she was so nice and informative. This was my first tattoo ever and I highly recommend these artists. They were all knowledgeable, kind, and checked in on me for any breaks or how I was feeling during the process. Alyshia is an amazing artist and she gave me all the after care instructions needed.
